Rosebud Attachment

The rosebud attachment is used to heat structural steel. It can heat ¼ inch steel red hot in less than 60 seconds without a flame. Some of the high strength steel on the newer vehicles can only be heated to a certain temperature.

If a specific temperature is desired for pulling a frame, use an infrared temperature gauge to monitor the specific temperature desired, pulling the rosebud away from the metal periodically to check the temperature. Once the desired temperature is achieved, take the rosebud away from the metal and do the pull.

The rosebud attachment can also be used to heat aluminum when removing graphics. It also may be used to separate tie rods or pitman arms. Just place the rosebud on the joint, and the heat will heat the female portion of the fitting thereby expanding it and release the joint.
